Connect to Zapier

Zapier is a no-code tool with thousands of connected apps that helps you automate moving information from one app to another. You can build Zapier automated workflows (aka Zaps) to automate paperwork processes end-to-end with Anvil. In this article, we’ll cover how to connect your Anvil and Zapier accounts.

Connect to Zapier

Connecting your Anvil and Zapier accounts allows you to create Zaps with Anvil triggers or complete actions like filling a document template.

To connect to Zapier:

  1. Navigate to the organization settings page
  2. Click on the Integrations tab in the organization settings panel to the left
  3. Select Sign up or Log in buttons under the 'Your workflows' section
  4. You’ll be redirected to Zapier where you can authenticate your Zapier credentials

After successful connection, you’ll be redirected to your Integrations page.

We highly recommend completing a test submission in Anvil before you start building your first Anvil Zap. The test data will be used to configure your Zaps and will be extremely useful when mapping Anvil Webform fields to other applications in Zapier.

It’s also important to note that anytime you test or retest a trigger or action, the resulting PDF or Workflow submissions will be test PDFs/submissions. Once your Zap is live and running, the resulting PDFs and or submissions will be live, billable PDFs/Submissions.
